Hello recording gurus,

I am just looking for some suggestions about how to get the most out of my current setup, and maybe an idea or two as well for gear or anything I might need to try.
I'm farily new to recording but am always looking for better ways to make my sound better.
This is the following gear and setup I have.

Alesis QS6.1 keyboard, into Behringer MX802A mixer.
Art EQ and Alesis compressor.
Groovebox 303 (primarily used as sequencer for Keyboard)-into mixer.
Art tube amp.
Cubase VST (for MIDI , but I can't seem to run my groovebox and keyboard from this software?!? frusturating!)
Sound Forge-(audio editor)
Cool Edit Pro-(multitrack recorder)
Stand Alone CD-R.

I usually sequence with my groovebox, and then record each track into cool edit.
After each track I edit with Sound Forge.
I then mix each track to the best of my ability and record the track on my stand alone CD-burner.
Any suggestions, questions, ideas are welcome.
I-AM just trying to learn.
