The "Limiting" dilemma... AKA - "Stupid Clients"

If the customer is insistent give them what they want. I always give an A/B (at equal volume levels) of their finished product. If you've done that they have been adequetely counseled about the dangers of that course, then do it.

My motto is to always give the customer options and respect their decisions.

I agree but when we are talking about insane volume here.
This guy is talking about smashing.
2 L2's pushed to -5 sound different and objectively clearer than 1 pushed to -10.
I wasnt restricting the user to the same compressor/limiter either. Play around see what works.
