I have to agree with ametth about the 60 sec limit on the windows sound recorder, it made me focus on condensing the most into a limited time constraint! now I write comercials for wrasslin shows
Also, ametth, about the guitar center thing, make sure you take along a few flash grenades, a desert eagle large caliber hand cannon and you should be o.k, also try to hit em around noonish as this is when their defenses will be down [lunch].
my only other advise is make sure you only grab things with the word GIBSON on them,

Wow! If there is a good argument to be raised in favor of software piracy or Napster it should be based on this article. I'm not sure it changes my opinions that are based our society as it is, but the article is sure as hell thought provoking.

Note that if you try to read that anytime soon (April 10th, 12:30 Arizona time) the site is getting hammered courtesy of Slashdot.

Slack has the right idea.

Go to the fasoft site, download the demo of ntrack and give it a try. If you still like it after a few days, BUY IT. IT'S CHEAP. Why is it that it's not a big deal for certain people to pay $1,000 for a mic, but spend two weeks trying to get a $50 piece of software for free. If after using ntrack for a couple of months, you realize that you'll need to upgrade to Pro Tools for that job you just got engineering Jeff Beck's new album, will you lose sleep because you can't get your money back?

I truly don't care if people like to steal software. I'd just prefer that they not go around making a big deal of it.

and 1 other thing if you do build a studio around your computer ,don't forget a door so you can get back in and use the stuff!!;)
 
ok ok i confessed, ......... i once installed and used a warez version of Fruity Loops ..... but ... I've deleted it and now looking for hardware drum machines.... i promised not to do it again ... .. have mercy !
