Dud, you can't be that silly. If your friend made a COPY for you, that's illegal. Let's try to make youunderstand. If Adobe spends Hundreds of thousands developing the audio program "Audition". They set it out at the stores to sell. ONE guy , (Your friend) buys it, and starts "helping another engineer out" all over the place by making them copies of Audition, that would be ILLEGAL. Can't you just see the folks at Adobe? They would be saying, "Damn, we have only sold one copie of this software, yet there are a hundred poeple using it. Then they find out that the one customer that bought it has sold a hundred copies at half price, made himself a few thousand bucks profit, and Adobe got nothing for their research and development. Starting to get the picture? What you did was Illegal, and what your friend did was illegal. You broke the copyright law. That is not the same thing as selling an ITEM, (Not a copy) on Ebay. If you sell a used radio one Ebay, that is not COPYING the item and making a profit on thier research. Now, If I took that radio and took it apart, and COPIED every patented part, and even copied the company's logo and everything, then I went out and sold it as a new radio from that company, that would be ILLEGAL. Understand? Your friend made half his money back that he spent on the programs. What if he "helps" a hundred engineers out, wouldn't he make a sweet profit? You cannot be dumb enough not to know that would be wrong and ILLEGAL. Your friend didn't have the right to copy someones software and then sell it. You were supposed to buy it from the company.
Now, having explained this to you, I will add that most everyone on these forums are probably using pirated software. Only a few are dumb enough to admit it. The ones who act high and mighty about it are probably the ones with tons of it on their computers. Everyojne knows that no one from these boards can come and see what's on your computer, so if being honest doesn't cost you anything, you might as well go all the way. So, when I see other posters coming here and saying how horrible others are for using cracked software, I get the feeling they are the ones using it most. A guilty man proclaims that he is innocent louder than the truly innocent. Hell, everyone on this site could have 90 percent cracked software on their computers, and there is no way to find out who has what, so why not proclaim you have none and look down on those who admit they do as horrible law-breakers?
On a final not, I don't have any cracked software on my PC, and I think anyone who does is a low-life crook. Man, that makes me feel better to let everyone know how honest I am. It's a shame that everyone can't look at my computer so that I could proove how honest I am (hahaha)

It's like you're mad because someone has or doing something you're not doing. What you're mad because you can't get the software? I think you should read the definition of "Thief"...Thief meaning a person who steals. Basically taking things they don't rightfully own, taking something without purchasing it. Which I purchased the software, therefore I'm not a thief. So what you can do and I quote "Shut The Fuck Up"...
Once again Markaholic, I didn't even know it was cracked. I don't even know anything about cracked software.
What you do with your computer is no concern of mine...but dont be asking questions about the shit or posting to everyone that you use cracked software!
