Again with the lyrics.....oh and a cheap shot at "no hook" ....ya thanks for that. What's funny is I clicked your video link and listened to the song, out of meter and out of key singing. The basics. Perhaps you should cover the basics before you spew your negative crap.

No need to get pissy when someone expresses an opinion. If you don't like what people say, ignore it. I comment on the guitar reverb and you ignore it, but when someone else does, you like their opinion - specially when they kiss your ass about the vocal.

Geez, you're sensitive. Get over it. There are all sorts of people here, and no they don't all play by the rules. For example, MaryJaneBleedingPhotos often posts stuff that's somewhere on the negative to useless scale, or maybe he's having a bad full moon week - ignore it. Same with some others. Stick around long enough to learn the site - learn who knows what they're talking about and what they're hearing, and who's just being a prat. You get all indignant, you lose. You kick back and filter the junk from the good wine, you get ideas that help your mix. Simple.

Another person who woke up on the wrong side of the couch. Feel free to put me on 'ignore' rather than throw insults.

As for me commenting on your video link, which YOU posted in your sig. I thought I give you a little taste of your own medicine. Seems you didn't like it. Maybe you'll learn from that experience?

I liked the guitar tone and sound...playing too.
Reminded my of late 70' s johnny winter guitar tone. I think the snare needs more verb. It's a bit too dry. I agree with gecko about the bottom end needed some bump.

As far as you being offended over reviewers comments...don't sweat it. You will get harsher criticisms here that anywhere else. That's a GOOD thing IMO. The clinic isn't, like alot of other recording sites, a place to get blanket praise for anything posted no matter how good or bad it may be.
People are critical here...just take it with a grain of salt or use it to improve your tunes.

In my opinion if you graciously accept praise for your playing and songwriting you can't very well get mad when someone bashes it

Dude - I think you may have mistaken my original comments for someone else's. here's what I said - no criticism of your guitar playing, and just a comment that you need more lyrics:

For my taste, the lead guitar is too heavy on the reverb. Lyrically, there's not much there, certainly no 'hook'.

As to your opinion on ONE of my videos - you didn't even mention which one it was - no credibility, so how could I give a flying f*ck what you thought?
