The basic things i need...?

i got a mic 20$ ill get a new one sum other time and cool edit and fl studio

im lookin to get sum more stuff basically the essentials possibly a mixer and a pre amp i just dont know what a pre amp is and how much is a cheap but decent one so if sumone could tell me whats a cheap price and wat is at'd be nice

also drop links onwere i can gett this stuff for as cheap as possible and tell me sumthin if i forgot a essential thing to start
