Other than a doorstop,bookends,shelf,mini-coffee table,dog's
chew toy,baby-seat,etc.,has ANYONE found a viable use for
this so-called compressor in RECORDING and what do you use it for.
This was/is my 1st compressor I bought a year ago and find it totally useless. I can't even sell it.

(sonusman, stay out of this 1'cause I KNOW what you're gonna'
say! :) )

Hmmm... the compressor itself, probably not... but the 2 gates can always be useful....

Actually....

I use my 3630 on bass when I have to use the Composers on other things. Sometimes, the colored sound on bass is actually pretty cool.

Here and there if I need a sort of boomy acoustic guitar sound I will use it on that too.

right. I have one in my bass rig along with a sonic maximizer. It does well there.

Same here Monty.... arty'facts all over the place! Sold it off a few years ago right after that -- never missed it since!

Anybody want to buy a 3630? $10...$5....free....I'll pay you to take it away....pleeeze, somebody....aarrgghh....

Send her my way.....

While I still wouldn't ever pay money for one, I certainly wouldn't turn down one for free (like the free one I already got).

Send her my way monty!

Wellll...maybe I was exaggerating a teensy bit. I actually paid $100 for it, and I see them selling on ebay. I need to sell it and re-invest in one o' them thar Behringers. Sorry old man. How about a cat?

I tried mine with my bass and all it did was pop.

then you probably werent using it properly. Actually the tone/color of that unit plays a big part of my live sound.

True its not a good recording comp.

Er no, it has a lot to do with the instability of the circuitry, which freaks out at the slightest hint of overload...
