Taking the slow road
I was just treated nicely on the phone w/ the fine folks from MXL.

Got the transfer, the hold and the disconnect.

Anyone have a better number I can call?

I have a couple of 991 under a year and one just got really noisy on me.

But I still love them and will continue to buy their fine microphones and other products and won't hesitate to reccommend them to all. :)

I called back just now and gave them a second chance and I got someone else on the phone and he was very helpful - so, it was an anomoly. I guess the first person got me in a little less than perfect mood.

Always ask for Scott. He's very helpful.

On a side note, I just met Brent Casey and Alan and Justin Hyatt. Very friendly people! I enjoyed meeting them.

People are rude sometimes on the phone.

It's a fact of life. Deal with it.

Junplugged, if you can honestly say that you, personally, know how to properly use the transfer function on a typical office phone, I will send you candy.

Jeezus. Do you think that, maybe due to the fact that they charge like a nickel for their microphones ... that they might have to bring on a few interns that might not be experts at working the phone just yet?
.

i've accidentally hung up on so many people at all of my jobs. or picked up and accidentally hit that red rls button that automatically kills the call

See ... they probably got so desperate, they had to hire Treymon for the day.

no, it was more than that, but not nearly as rude as you!

;)

I was at Folkways for 3 YEARS before I finally figured out how to transfer a call. Fortunately, the walk is never that long! :o :D

Hey, now! We actually get quite a few calls during the day. But my psychic side is telling me that the spirit of Moses Asch is laughing. He was a funny guy, I'm told.
