that warm crackled vinyl sound? (sparklehorse)

continuing my new theme of asking "how'd they do that", i'm wondering if anyone has had success with happily finishing their recordings, getting a good mix and then applying a crackled vinyl effect over the whole lot? i.e like virtually everything sparklehorse have recorded vocally!

i forgot to add, i'm using protools LE and the mbox with an ibook...
 
The easiest way to achieve this would be to simply loop a sample of crackling vinyl throughout your track
