Thanks to everyone who put up with some irritatingly basic questions on microphone connections in a couple of recent threads. Between your suggestions, and the articles people pointed me two, I've found everything I needed to know, and located the gear I need to do what I wanted to do in the first place -- at a reasonable price, no less.
