Rick,
use the thread tool (top right) & select close thread then submit (I think) so that 2 of the 3 threads related to your recording can be closed off & not split your responses or generate disfavour from those who might, inadvertantly, read each.
After this I'll be glad to listen & coment.

Vox are too loud over the guitar, and contain many mouth noises that need to be cleaned up. Guitar sounds nice, though may need a cut somewhere in the 400 to 800 Hz area.

Sorry folks, the forum was not responding last night for me, guess I accidentally duplicated the same thing, sorry! But, not being an admin, I can't change it.

Yeah boost the guitar mix.
Sounds nice to me. A little less lo mids in the vox might work better. I wold personaly add more reverb to the mix, but thats personal preference I suppose.

I agree about the vocals being a little too loud, but other than that everything sounds fine to me. What kind of guitar is it? It sounds real nice

The tune is nice. :)

If you wrote it and composed the music, nice!

Lower the vox slightly. Boost the guitars slightly.

If you're up for re-recording, I'd recommend more distance from the mic for the vox and singing a little louder to get that. On the other hand this is just the right tone if you're giving that up close and personal sound. This paragraph on the vocal recording is just my opinions and could be WAYYYYYY off. :)

The song is real nice and mellow and has that melancholic note there too.

Nope, I did note write this one, it was written and recorded by James Taylor.
