Terratech Phase 22 problem...

Idy ho good people!

I got the Phase 22 for my work today and after installing it I ran into a little problem...signal only goes thru one channel...I know the outlets on the card is balanced and when it comes to that shit I'm totally green...Now...the cable that were used from the old card (SB Live) into the amp is the same as I'm using from the Phase to the amp, a question...is there such a thing as a balanced cable...? If so then maybe I've solved my problem for me, but then again...not...Would I be laughed at if I went to the store and asked for a balanced cable? (To me that sounds stupid)...anyways, I know that the balanced/unbalanced thing has something to do with eliminating noise and shit, but can someone please tell me what to do about this...?

I need good advice quick and I'll appreciate it alot people

I think you have solved it, the 22 has seperate balanced sockets for left and right channels. They are auto balancing, so you can use seperate unbalanced cables to the amp. Using balanced cable (or TRS) would only be worth it if the amp has balanced inputs too.

See the thing is that if I switch from outlet #1 over to #2 the signal is still on just one speaker, and it's the same one...
