I'm recording a song with tempo changes. Normally I use the metronome when recording but how can I use this for tempo changes? Can I get the tempo to change dynamically by itself or can I get the tempo to be different after the bars of the other tempo.

I don’t think it is possible to change tempo ”on the fly” in CEP.
I’m usually programming the drum machine to achieve that.
I'm sure there is software which can do the same.

Reaper has a timeline interface-sort-of-thing. Lets you change bpm, tempo, time sig, etc. as you go. And even add a thing at the top for each section...intro, chorus, bridge, verse, etc.

Then it's metronome/click track will follow the timeline.

Hello Danny,
I do a lot of reading about Reaper. Very impressive!
There is one thing I couldn’t find the answer…
What about audio-editing in Reaper?
Am I totally blind or there is not “Edit View” or something like that in Reaper?

best regards
skter
