Fender Precision Bass & Fender Jazz Bass, Johnson JG-622-E acoustic-electric
Gibson EB3 SG Bass, Epiphone EB3 SG Bass, Squier Affinity P-bass
I have experience with the Squier Affinity P-bass, Fender Precision Bass and Johnson JG-622-E acoustic electric by way of ownership, and I've at least played both EB3 basses a few times (actually had the Gibson on lay-away, once, but had to let it go, for reasons beyond my control). The Squier's not a bad bass, and the Player Pack that it came with was the umph I needed to get going as a bass player, as well as helping me to develop some guitar playing chops. In the future, both the Squier and Fender P-basses will end up in my music recordings, as there are some things I play that's better with flatwound strings, and some things better with roundwound strings, so I'll upgrade the Squier a bit, and all will be well with my world of bass playing.
