I dont know about anybody else but ur songs don't show up on the webpage

Yeah I just realized that so I'm going try to upload my stuff to Dmusic because I cant even get the links to work. Sorry for the inconvience.

I'm not trying to spam the site. I really want some advice on the sound quality of these tracks. Can someone please help me out here. I would post it in the Mp3 mix clinic but I thought I would get a betta response here. Thanks for ya time fellaz.

good job, very clear clean mixes. kinda alittle to bright. (especially strings on first one.)

not too bright, just too loud

i listened to the second song:

the strings arent too bright, just a little too loud. good choice on string sound though. reminds me of the string sounds in a crumar. but they are so loud that they cut out the other melodic stuff going on the background.

also i think the vocals need a tad more compression. sometimes they seem to drop a bit.

and in that refrain, that sampled vocal part- the levels dont match up well with the rest of the vocals, little disorienting.

drums sound good. snare and bass cut through well.

the first one

ok. listened to the first one.

mix is a bit tighter on this.

but the song is a bit too r&b for me, i dont like that orchestra blast run thing. sounds like it came from a paula abdul song.

Thanks for your honest opinion. I will try to fix that. The orchestra blast was actually played and not a sample.

Checked out your tune

The tune was cool, If I had to recommend something I would pay close attention to the drum sounds that your using, Cause let's be real with out the drums theres no song, So what ever drum machine your using when you finaly record the drumtracks, spend alot of time making sure your drumtracks are felt not always heard,,, I use about 5 different setup's on all my drum tracks over the last 10 years(compression, ect so on and so on) and I must admit I'm busy as hell do tracks for everybody......Anyway hope this help alittle.

yo

i'm not going to comment on the mix, because the professionals have already, but i will say that your rhymes are banging, and i love those beats, keep it up. i can see you on b.e.t. one day kidd

Yo thanks for the listen. I have tried a couple of times to listen to your tracks but my Winamp is giving me some problems. We have an artists at hotsounds that I think would be good for you to colab wit. He's from Ohio. Sounds a little like ludicrous.

www.mp3.com/HotSoundsRecords

His song is titled "Good Ol dayz"

It's old material but he is currently working on his album that has some new hot songs but he has not realeased any yet.

holla back if you wanna colab wit him.

yep yep

i can flow with duke, fa sho. nice looking. holla back

first song

i think the first song is tiiiiiight. I really like the beat and the "backround" singer. Personally....the chorus kinda gets shot when the mc talks "ya'll just don't understand..." I guess there's a point to what he's saying but it really looses the groove, maybe cuz the beat drops out but i think it's cuz of the mc.

bigballsworth

what's up playboy, wha'ts going on in h-town?

Nice production! Clean & Clear capture of vocals.

Just my opinion, but a few milli-sec of delay on the dupe voc track combined with 2-3db eq boost around 75-80hz freq'y range would round out & add more presence to your orig. voc track.
Your phrasing and rhythmic flow in conjuction with the music, along with your timing & form during the breaks, is tight!!
Lyrically, your message allowed me to flow with you with none o'
'dat unnecessary side-track b.s. spittin' that takes the listener to some far-off level which kill's the flava of the overall product!
The music!!?? ON POINT!!! Trim some of the upper-mids on the back-tracks a lil and boost bass a db or 2 and you're there!

Mind you, these are simply my tracking suggestions in regards to your 1st link in hi-fi mode which allowed me to perform dynamic processing on your vocs by adj'ing eq, some siblance control,
filtering and sig-efx ('delay & room verb)! Not much, just a tweak here & there, but challin I was feelin' this hard!
I like this!

We'll kick it in the future!

Peace
