I am looking to start promoting my music properly when I start a band and start to release some original material. But I am starting with covers at the moment.

I underrstand the use of utub but as this forum is to listen to and critique your mixes (and performance & songs) you really ought to upload 320MP3s so we can listen in the best/most convenient quality available.
Deep Blue Sea is a cool vid, song & performance but I'd like to listen more closely to the performance & mix.
Do yourself a favour & either set up a soundcloud or soundclick page & post your songs there or post them on an upload site like megaupload.
It's really great that you got straight into listening to & commenting on the music of others in the forum - that's a good sense of social justice right off the bat.

ive not heard the original, but did you play a few bum notes in it? some of the chords didnt sound quite right, but i dunno, that might be how it was written!

When I post some original material which is recorded I shall use a Soundcloud.
But for now its just on my Youtube Channel.
