Yes, Reilly, in this day and age, top tube mics could set you back several thousand bucks, and if they're 30 years old, on the high end of that spectrum. More affordable alternatives include Studio Projects TB-1/ T-3, Rode NTK, and Marshall MXL V69.-Richie
