telephone cable->1/4" or XLR.

ok, on a hunch i see two cables inside a phone cable. are these by any chance compatible with the unblanced ground and hot wire thingy deal? my mom left a message on my answering machine telling me im a lazy fart and i want to record for posterity. or a future song relese.

and yes i know i could just put my mic up to that. but this would be a more direct mode. and easier for future silly drunken messages left on the cnaswering machine.

here, at the radio we have conected the phone to a little black box, home made or "do it your self", that convert the phone line to 1/4...

Just for your info, some KOSS headphones like the R80 are made with a cable that connects to the phones with something that looks to me to be a telephone connector. So telephone connector to the pnones and then 1/8" (or 1/4") stereo to the stereo.

So the plugs should be compatible...
