Does anyone know why there is NO back tension on left wind but there IS on right wind. The 1 K back tension resistor had been replaced wired correctly. This issue started suddenly without symptoms prior to. For those who will suggest this, please do not tell me to use TAPEHEADS. I have tried there but the answers I get are not very helpful, sometimes boarding on a personal attack. The service manual does not help beyond telling me that the wiring is correct. Both motors run in the appropriate direction at both full speed and half speed when bench tested. This issue is only present in the unit. I can bypass the resistor which allows both motors to run at full speed, opposite directions. That is not supposed to be. I need help please.
