Has anyone got any experience connecting a TM-D1000 to an MX-2424?

Currently I output my TM-D1000 to 2 DA-38s. Can I just redirect my TDIF connectors to the back of the MX-2424?

And if you can answer that, you may know what is thw biggest hard drive I can put in the MX-2424.

I would think that you can connect the TDif connectors to the MX2424 if the MX2424 has the TDIF card fitted, there were several optional cards for this machine, however I don't know much about the TD mixers so I need more info.

The largest drive that seems to work reliably is a 73gig. Remember that these machines used 68 pin scsi drives. There is a way to use a scsi to sata converter but it needs setting up and costs money.

P.S:

Extra to above, the MX Tdif card (if fitted) has 24 channels of Tdif via 3 x 8 channel D-subs, the TM-D1000 has 8 channels of Tdif via 1 connector, this actually should still work as I seem to remember that you can route the tdif channels internally inside the MX so you can have only 1 tdif connected. The only down side is that you can only record or playback 8 channels at a time via the TM.
