Ghost, that last picture you posted, the 'retro' one, looks like it should be the graphical interface for a Universal Audio plugin :) that looks great!

Thanks for the kind feedback on that one! :)

It does sort of have that look to it, I suppose. Though it wasn't intensional on my part. :D

Cheers! :)

I'm partial to the "retro" version but maybe that's because it includes MM-1000 trim detailings. :)

Ghost, how hardc would it be to do one of the modules bare without wood trimmings and such? Like the 300 module you did earlier conceptually speaking?

Love it.

That would be easier and quicker to do, for sure. Did you mean a single channel?

Also, the 300 channel was shot at an angle originally which had a lot to do with how it came out looking in the final presentation. If you'd like a similar type of finished shot to that one, I'd need you to re-shoot the 440/1000 unit from a similar vantage point. Let me know.

Cheers! :)

Here's a single unit in the raw...

Nice!

Hey, Ghost, I meant to say much earlier how amazed I am by your work on the PS-15. Wow!

Thanks!

Yeah, the PS-15 was a fun project to fix up the initial photographic distortions and then go on to rebuilt that case pixel by pixel as well as come up with the missing parts such as the top panel and the multi pin connector which I ended up scouring the net for something half way appropriate to shove in there. :D I know its not the right connector too but couldn't find a usable image of the blue one that's supposed to go on there.

But its all good fun for me and if a few of your people out there use the images for your desktop wallpaper, then it makes it worthwhile for me.

Cheers! :)

I've been wanting to add the 234 syncaset to the wallpaper depository here for a long time but finding decent full sized images on the web has proved fruitless.

Anyway, I was looking through one of my old TASCAM color brochures that I have sealed away in a secret briefcase and found the 234 brochure which has a centerfold 2 page wide image of it! The only problem with the image is that there was the obvious page crease, staple holes as well as the 3 hole punch holes. So it took a bit of work in Photoshop to fix it up but I think it was worth the effort.

Agreed...

234 = my fav cassette 4-track.

I have that brochure.

I have 3 of those machines.

I like 'em.

Hey, and the latest iteration of the M-__ is indeed what the wood is going to look like...natural walnut. My woodworking friend is on a break from their long-term mission trip. He is in the midst of gutting/repairing the house they will move into when they return at the end of the mission in two years. I'm out of work right now so helping him out. He and his family have tons on their plate before they head back out but I'm hoping to at LEAST get a refresher lesson from him on how to best operate his planar. I've got all his cabinet-making equipment in storage in my shop but I'm not savvy to its operation. If he can show me again maybe I can get those panels for the M-__ done. I'm also hoping he can show me how to trim laminate. I believe all the tools to do it are with the stuff in storage and I want to redo the laminate on my MCI JH-416A frame.

Nice work as always, Ghost. Tascam made handsome machines.

Thanks Cory!

Sorry to read about your work situation at the moment. Hope things turn around for you soon!

Cheers! :)
