Tascam US2400 controller...

Anyone know where (if) you can still get these? I have searched e-bay with no luck, and all of the google searches seem to lead me to a musician's friend (etc, etc...) page with "sorry, we no longer stock this pro duct (stupid intellitext), search for other products offered by TASCAM here...". Kind of aggrivating. Thanks for any insight you can provide!

I've seen a few here and there. I work at a music gear shop and its been discontinued. But you just have to check craigslist in your local area, or try to pick up a second hand one at out of a pennysaver mag, or keep searching ebay.

I swear these are relatively new, and extremely fast selling. Why on earth would they discontinue them so fast?!

There not that new... However that's the way of manufactuers these days. I heard about Tascam discontinuing stuff that has been on the market less than a year.

I just looked it up.

Its due to the lead content in the machine. The laws have gone up and now they have to discontinue.

Would have thought they would do a revision product though considering how well it did.
