I bought the tascam us-144mkII audio interface and it got here last friday, had to wait almost a month for it to get here. Anyways i was only able to use it twice... 
Today I turned on my computer and connected the interface and stuff and its making a weird high pitch sound. i tried disconnecting it and connecting it and switching the usb port its connected to(built-in usb ports just like it says on the manual) and it didnt work the lights flashed randomly and crazy then they stopped and the midi in light is on but the usb one isnt and it still makes that high pitch noise. I also tried uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling it but that didnt work either. Any clues as to how to fix this? My computer is a Macbook pro, snow leopard and im using logic. Right now the usb light is flashing while the midi in light is on. Please help!!
