tascam us-122 help.

well i decided to record my own music on my computer about 2 months ago. i have no idea what im doing really.

my computer:
amd 3500
1 gig ram
sound blaster audigy zs 2

i also have sonar 4 and frooty loops 5
and i bought a Tascam us-122 soundcard so i could record my guitar.

i dont know what im doing really rofl, can anyone point me to a guide on how to get started with sonar 4 using my Tascam Us-122.

I don't know about sonar, but you should be able to use the 122 as an interface. It will bypass your SB and serve as a better soundcard than that one for recording purposes.

Make sure you have the most current drivers for the 122 (from the tascam website). Then make sure that the 122 is selected as both the input and output device in sonar.

You might find a "getting started" guide on the tascam site, as well. I don't recall. The manual is a good place to start, as well.
