I have something like that for my TSR-8. It wobbles alarmingly, which is not surprising since it has a maximum load capacity of about 45Kg and the machine itself is about 35.

The other one - the JamStands one - looks like it's much more sturdy - I use that kind of stand for my A807 and MSR-24 and they are rock solid.

Cool, good to know! I don't want wobbly, that's for sure. Well and Hosa makes some pretty cheap stuff, handy because it's cheap, but doesn't hold up too well, because it's cheap! Thanks, that helps allot!
 
I had one of those Jam Stands units. It is indeed sturdy. There are *some* fit and finish issues but it worked well. Be prepared it does not have threaded rack rails. It uses caged square nuts and you'll have to buy them for standard #10-32 rack screws, unless it comes with the caged square nuts.

I would just check with them first to see what "hardware" comes with it. I recall the one I got DID come with some caged square nuts and screws, but IIRC they were 1/4" - 20.

And watch the prices...looks like you can get one for $100 shipped, but some are almost double that for the same thing.

All of them just say "hardware included" but they don't specify, so, again, you might want to ask what that means and be prepared to have to purchase some #10-32 caged square nuts, and they can be a PITA to pop in, but once they are in its good.

And again I had one and had my 58-OB mounted in it, and they are indeed very sturdy and roll very nicely.

I work next to a really great hardware store, that specializes in hardware, so shouldn't be an issue. I just ordered one on amazon, $80, free shipping (prime membership is real handy). That looks pretty nice with the 58 in it, I'm glad I started looking for something as an alternative to the tascam cs 607, as nice as that would be, I'll feel better having this racked up quickly, and off of the floor, where my golden retriever can't lick it so easily! He likes the taste of analog gear!

Korean knock-off under the name of Agile...but it really is nice.
 
I'm pretty sure Agile supplies Epiphone with their budget LP guitar models...but, yeah, I think I paid $250 for it new...spalted maple arch top mahogany body, set maple neck, bound body and fingerboard...here's another (bad) shot of it:

Its really heavy...solid build.

The fretwork is nice and it arrived set well...no hangers on the frets (nice fretwork)...I changed out the copper hat knobs it came with for the ivory ones you see on there. The pickups are of course generic, but LOTS of options out there if I want to upgrade those, and to my ear the guitar sounds nice as-is. Anyway...looks like the prices have crept up a little on them but still a really good deal as far as I'm concerned...

Interesting.....hmmm. My dream guitar for two decades has been a true Les Paul, but these days, with a house payment, and growing obsession with recording, it seems farther out of reach, so this is an intriguing option. Thanks, something to ponder!
