Tascam reel to reel remote

Hello,

Would someone please tell me if this remote will work for a Tascam 22-4? Tascam 12 pin rectangular connection RC-71 remote.

I just won a mint 22-4 on Ebay!!! I am real excited to start making some analog home recordings.

The RC-71 is the one for that deck as well as all of the decks in the 30 series.

I've acquired a Teac RC-90 remote. It has a rectangular 12pin connector. The docs for my Tascam 32 and 80-8 refer to the RC-71 and the RC-170 respectively. Which decks will this remote work with?

The RC-90 remote will work with anything that takes the RC-71.

The RC-90 will have a button that's basically unused in this case,... the "REC MUTE" button. Otherwise, it will function in the same capacity as the RC-71.
