Yep. Got it. Got five minutes of drums on track 8 via Channel 1 input. This is a whole next level of board for me! Never used anything like it.
Whoa.
Thanks for the patience.

So, I’m getting the hang of working with the 80-8/M-520. I’m at a point where I would like to bounce some tracks down to one. Free up some space. I tried doing it “intuitively” and here I am!
Not finding anything in the manual.

G'day, what's the best stuff to clean the metal face of my M520? It's got years of grime on it when you look in the light and feels kinda gross, so I want to give it a good wash but without rubbing the paint off. Windex? WD40? Bit of detergent on a cloth? Eucalyptus Oil? Just wondering what you guys have done.

I use Dawn liquid dish detergent and one of those dish cloths with the one side that’s a plastic scrubby…warm water…if it’s only lightly soiled i might just use a soft scrub brush or even an old toothbrush if it’s a small panel. I hang it under or set it over a heat register so there’s air movement to dry it off faster after washing, or lean it against a box fan or something…don’t just towel-dry it and put it back together right away especially if it’s a steel panel…make sure it’s good and dry to avoid any oxidation.

If there is any adhesive residue I use 91% or better isopropyl alcohol first.

If after the detergent bath and scrub and drying I want to do more I use a painted surface cleaner and polish/protectant called TR3, but it will have more gloss after that so i keep that in mind…if I’m working on one device with multiple like panels and I want to polish one, I’m going to have to plan to do them all or one is going to stick out.

magic, thank you! it'll be nice to get this guy feeling a bit nicer to use.

Say you want to mix 4 channels down to 1 channel, could you assign those 4 channels to Bus 1 then run a cable on the back from the PGM1 Out to whatever channel you want to mix them into? I haven't done it but I think that'd work.
