Hi,
I've done some research and come to the conclusion that the DR-100 is a good thing, but I need to get a good general purpose mic for DSLR videos AND also, sound effects/samples to later be used in music.
I've also read good things about the Sony ECM-MS957. But is there a way to make it work with the DR-100 XLR ports?
I believe stereo is better for recording ambient sounds/effects, which is why I'm looking at a stereo mic rather than shotgun.
Are there any alternatives I should consider? And what accessories would I need? A windjammer - any other cables?
Appreciate the help!
