Tascam DM 4800

I would like some Help Plz, with my DM 4800 I cannot figure out what's going on and this is driving me nuts.
the master fader is turn all the way up and the volume keeps trying to get loud
but it does not, when I try pushing the Layer Status it tend to get a bit loud but does not... PLZ HELP!!!!.

can u try be more specific about ur problem? i just cant understabd what is the problem.

do u get signal? do u se movement on the meters?

Did you sell it on eBay?

To Bugzee,
Is the project a new one, or is it one that was loaded from eBay prior to your purchase?
Maybe, try creating a clean project.
Also, please explain the rising in volume a bit better. Does any faders under any layer move during the rise in volume?
In your DAW project, check that there is no Automation. Again, try to create a clean project in Cubase, Logic, etc.

When in doubt, re-init......Press SHIFT + ASSIGN 1 + ASSIGN 2 while switching power on. This brings you into diagnostics menu, where you can initialize the DM.
