Tascam 424.... Chrome/Cobalt/No difference

I am looking at buying some Type II tape from National Audio. They offer two types.... Chrome and Cobalt. Do ya'll have one preference over the other?

I can't say I've ever used anything other than chrome. I always kind of figured it was like the SM57 mic: if I can't get a good sound out of it, then it's something I'm doing wrong.
