Hi

I've noticed from time to time that questions get asked about the interchangability of the rec/amp boards in 32s,34s and 38s.
The boards out of 32s have more components on them than those in 38s, I think to do with low EQ trimming.
My questions are;

1) If a 32 board is used in a 38, does this low EQ adjustment become available?
2) Will the 32 board be compatible with the 38's record/replay/erase heads?

Any thoughts/experience?

1.The 32 cards have extra components for jumper selectable IEC or NAB EQ curves.The 38 cards are IEC only.
2.Don't know,I suspect no-but the only way to tell would be to try...
