I was just counter offered to buy a broken Tascam 246(post 244)for $45 + $9.84 shipping, should I get it ?!?!? This is how he advertised it:

This Tascam 246 unit powers up. This was given to me a while back and I don't have the time to fix it. Seems to pass sound but havent recorded anything successfully. Come with a spare tape mechanizum. Could be great for parts or repair. 50 bucks or best offer! Thanks!

Ya' interested in schematics for it? Not a full service manual just schematics. PDF about 3.4mb in size.

I have a 246 that was an upgrade from a Fostex X-15. Also have the RC-71 remote. More closet stuff that eventually needs to go.
