Hi folks--Anyone know the correct
Fuse Lamp to use in a Tascam 22-4?
I found this from an old link from Skywave
https://www.jkllamps.com/incandescent/fuselamps

Like usual the Tascam 22-4 manual doesn't show it.
Had the same problem with Bulbs
in my Tascam 48 manual.
A quick call to Tascam parts cured that.

Thanks spantini--I've got
the Tascam 22-4 manual
but it doesnt say or I can't find
it in there. I'm hoping Sam--SKYWAVE
could answer this.

Oh, OK.. I saw fuses listed in several areas and thought that might be enough.

There are no fuse lamps anymore so what we do is just solder in the axial or pigtail lamps at the fuse end terminals. I have done at least hundreds this way by now. The correct lamp is called DA513. My last order was 300 or 400 of them.
You can make a fuse lamp but it is a lot of trouble putting ends on a axial lamp which can just be soldered in.

Those fuse lamps are for cars and the only one that comes close is the LED but it is still 100mA higher than the axial lamps.

Hey old friend--thanks Sam (Skywave)
Ya I'll try some DA513'S
Wish me luck fixing it.
Keep up the great work Sam :-)

Regardless of current political and biological threats, these tape deck repairs continue to come in at fast rates. I have used DA513 many many times in all kinds of decks and the only one they don't work in is the Technics that use the DA403 for the 5V supply.
