Though he hasn't been around much lately...new job seems to have him extremely busy these days.

Reel deep thoughts...
Two jobs...and two horses...six chickens...a cat...a dog...a house with projects...1.72ac of land with...projects...refurbished a vintage motorcycle upon which to commute for the new job. Oh yes...married with 4 kids.
I gave notice at the secondary job. The additional money is nice, but it's just too much. The primary job is about 60 hours per week on average alone. It's all just too much. Better than NOT working, don't get me wrong...not complaining, just giving y'all a snapshot of what is biding my time and it ain't audio gear.
I did indeed keep the M-__ prototype Tascam mixer. Not doing much with it...still have some snakes to make up. It IS being used by my girls as a pair of mic pres and effects loop (to the RS-20B) and headphone amp so they can practice their singing, so it does get powered up several times per week.
I sold the Soundtracs console awhile back and the M-__ is THE board at this time and for the forseeable future. Really the only thing that would push to change that would be if I finally got my Ampex MM-1000 converted to 2" 16-track...then it would be good to have more returns, but if I get to that point the MCI JH-416 sits silent under plastic in the shop for...someday.
Having a blast with my girls ages 11 and 13 with the horses...my 15 year of son is growing up fast and he's busy with sports so a bit of running around there doing my best to show I'm his #1 fan...tough with work. Life goes on.
