Just found locally a Tandberg TD20Α for 300 euros... are these RTR any good? From search on internet I found that these are really good with HiEnd quality! And the old days were a little bit expensive... but I'll trust your opinion on this!

Does it worth it for 300 euros (around $450)? I didn't ask but maybe I can get it 250 euros... :rolleyes:

There seem to be two versions. A quarter-track stereo version, which is low-speed and a half-track stereo version which can do 15ips. If you're thinking of doing anything mastering-like on it, check that it's the 15ips version.

...the deck seems to use a motor to engage the pinch roller instead of a solenoid like pretty much every other deck in existence.
