I cut the intro on the song Conformist Wine. Let me know what you think of it now. Thanks!

Lol, what're you up to Rick?

Anywho, when's your next show? There's some stuff going on I'd like to chat with you about.

Nice,

I think the vocal delivery and recording are EXCELLENT.

The guitars are mad as heck and the drums have mad energy. great job.

I think the kick and snare a little bit small in the mix and thats my only nitpick

9/10

Funk on!

Hi Waldo! Things have been going pretty good for us lately; just last night we won the semi-final round of the battle of the bands at Level 4. These things are usually pretty lame but this one actually has some decent prizes including regular airplay on CJAY etc.

Our next show is ...tonight! We are playing at the Underground with Inner Surge, Conch and Extasis. It is called "Wake Up Weekends", a G8-related benefit with proceeds going towards Operation Eyesight Universal. Inner Surge set the whole thing up.

Anyways, if you are coming down there tonight, I'll hope to see you there, and otherwise you cn get a hold of me on email from our site.

Oh my!

You seem to have your shit together. Is this home brewed or pro studio or somewhere in between? I listened to conformist(cool title and lyrics) and the acoustic porch song. This seemed to be a decently diverse selection. I was impressed by the vocals and arrangment on both tunes. You've a tight ship sailing. I hope it docks in the bay of your dreams.

Um Um good stuff,

Theron.

Man, that's a great tune! Fantastic dark sound on the Guitar. Great mix. Keep up the good work!

I really dug the groove on "Redline"
This is the sh*t!!!
But...Home recorded it aint!!!

I dont care where he recorded it......he makes me sick.....very ill......

hehe...at least I know that by making Gidge sick, I've done my part in making the world a better place

I wasnt trying to dis because it sounds great. I just thought it sounded too damn good to be home recorded.

Not my style. But very well done. Nice job on everything. Couldn't quite make out the words. Oh well.

It seemd to me there was a little competition between the lead vocal and the rhythm guitar. But only a little.

Great job.

Good stuff.... speed metal. "Metallideth/Megaca." (sht that sounds dumb) :)

Loved the aggression.

Hey participant...
Thanks for listening, I appreciate your comments. Check out some of the other songs besides the first one and I think that you'll see a little more diversity.

Rock on!
Rick

awright heard "mission" and "amends"

good job. real good job. good enough for a CD release IMO. now, this was all home recorded on a Yamaha MT50 4-Track? Amazing ;) :D

Seriously, if I ever make recordings that good it will be 20 years from now, when computers will mix the tracks themselves.

Participant...
Thanks a lot; I think my recording setup is about the same as a lot of people around here; I'm recording on n-track, through a Delta 1010. I am using an old Allen & Heath mixer for mic pres, and the usual SM57's etc on instruments. I did rent a nice tube mic, a Rode Classic, for vocals.

I'm pretty happy with the end result; It's the first album I've ever recorded and mixed.
There are definitely some things that I would change, looking back, but I figure you have to let things go and work on something new.

Thanks for the kind words!!

You didn't just give us music; you gave some of us some hope.

Now, if only I had the brains to record something as good as SittinIdol ...
