Sytek - Wow

does sytek have a 2 channel pre-amp of similar quality for maybe less $$? i want a nicer preamp than my aardvark q10 but dont need 4 of em.

I guess I have officially taken the first step on the road to my gearlust recovery. I do however forsee a lot of relapses in the near future. I have my eyes on a Dynaudio sub and a telefunken mic Probably a couple Neve strips in the next 6 months too

How do you think the sytek compares to a Hamptone Jfet? Anyone?

i have not heard the Hamptone.i belive the sytek might sound very much like the fet deesign .transparent if you will which is why prefer some of the signals i am getting.
is the burr brown option a big difference?

Hmmm interesting. Does the Sytek have transformers? The Hamptone has trannys and they are nice ones at that.
