hi, i'm new to cubase. i have been using cubasis for some time, but now i thought it was time to graduate to a bigger better program. so, i need to sync up a click track from a session i have been given by another engineer. the click is an aif, how do i sync it to the program's click? also, it gives me an option for eight "channels" when i open the program. i can create more tracks, but they are assigned to the pre-existing channels. how do i create more "channels"? thanks a million

Whats your hardware setup?
It'd probably help with replies and stuff.

what is it you want to do with this click??? make it audible?

using more channels is done by double clicking below the existing tracks... then you can choose what channel to assign the track to...
above the tracks you can also right click to pull down a menu that'll let you reveal more types of settings, like track type (audio/midi/whatever), pan, volume, transpose...
