I'm having major problems installing SX3. I've been on Cubase.net but nobody seems to be be to help... which is not good seeing as the moderators are Steinberg.
Anyway, I got a new pc - another custom built Optiplex, it's hooked up to a Delta 1010 and Mackie HUI.
SX3 installs fine (ever since I uninstalled Cubasis VST) and i can record guitars direct via the Delta. The licence control center is properly registered and the dongle is working fine.
Problem 1: If I turn on the HUI, then load SX3 it crashes - error message saying to save work under a different name etc - rfer to LOG for info - log states there is an access violation... have to hit CTRL/Alt?Delete to shut it down. Turn HUI off and restart, everything runs fine.
Problem 2: I try to install a fresh copy of Halion3... register at the licence center, codes saved to dongle, everything looks great. Open Halion as a freestanding instrument from programs and it works fine. Load it as a VST in SX3, same thing happens as with the HUI... crash, error message (access violation).
What gives???
