SX1, SX3 compatable session files?

are SX3 session files backwards compatable with SX1 and vice veresa?

Gonna be working a LOT with a guy using SX1 where he's gonna be doing the majority of the tracking and doing the mixing in my studio on SX3

Nope. You can open SX files with SX3 but not the other way around.
