Over the past few years I have been using the Roland VM3100Pro digital mixer (24/44.1), which has 8 channels. Now I need more inputs, and I don't care too much about the endless routing options a digital mixer offers. I'm thinking about getting a Mackie 1604 analog mixer and an EMU 1212M sound card.
Do you think the sound quality would be equal? Better? Worse? Thanks!
