it's was more jokingly than serious. Although saying that an internationally exhibited pohotgrapher's work wasn't art didn't help. I'm too smart(ass) for my own good sometimes

To assume that the world should recognize what you do as 'art' just because you say so sounds pretty arrogant to me.But just to say that it isn't art is very arrogant

The only difference is now, you and everyone who thinks like you will look at it differently and judge it on a different set of merits. The chair remains the same.

If it is art just because the maker says so, the term is meaningless.mrT said:But I never the less give them the respect of calling it art if they say that's what it is.

I remember grinning from ear to ear in high school one day walking down the hall with Axle Rose swearing away in my headphones. Can't remember which song, but it sure did make me feel bad in a good kind of way at that age. (shrug)

It's exhibited on this BBS.mrT said:If you say so... How are you going to exhibit it?
If you don't understand it, it wasn't meant for you. However, according to your rules, you must give it the respect of calling it art just because I say it is.mrT said:What were you trying to get across with it?
It has to in order to get it's message across.mrT said:Why does it suck balls so much?
So, now it's only art if someone will pay to see it or have it? You're making this up as you go along, aren't you?mrT said:NOw just get someone to pay to see it or have it... If you can do that I'll be impressed by your art. (even though that's not what you meant it to be)
