i do love smilies...
hey there.
ive been looking at some mixers (mainly the behringer and the Yamaha MG series) to use to record the two guitars, bass and keyboard in my band. i'd like to be able to record each of them onto a seperate track using the subgroups on the mixer into a Delta 44 which im going to buy as soon as i get some cash...
heres the question. would it be possible to use a mixer with only 2 subgroups to record all four, by putting, for example, the two guitars onto the subgroup and panning hard left and right for each, and then putting the keyboard and bass onto the main mix and pan These hard left and right? im asking because im on a tightish budget, and if i can save £100/150 on a mixer im happy to do so
.
thanks in advance

for my DT coursework i did electronics, and the back of the circuit board ended up all black and burnt where i'd accidently touched the plastic, and that was where the whole thing wasnt just one big blob of solder
