Hi,
I tried to record drums tonight. My direct outs 1&2 on my mixer(mackie1604vlz) do not work, so I used the sub outs. I had 2 overheads, One to input 1, and one to input 2 of my mixer. sub outs 1&2 into my sound card 1&2(delta 1010lt). I was able to see a signal for ch.1(in Guitar tracks pro) but not ch.2? I heard both clearly in ch.1? I had done a level check on both b4 I recorded,I had 1-2 insted of L-R pressed in on both and my fadders up on 1&2. I have Sub out 1 going to input 1 of my sound card and sub out 2 going into input 2 of my sound card. How come I don't get a seperate signal for Ch.2?

thanx,
jeff

i suspect in guitar tracks software you have enabled the track as a mono track possibly ? and not a stereo track ?
also make sure on the mackie that the two mic channels you are going into the pan is set correctly. one should be extreme left(ch1) and the other extreme right(ch2) for stereo.
peace.

thanx manning1, after I tried that, and further investigation I find my CH.2 input on my soundcard isn't working! I don't know what to do now...where do I begin to fix this problem??

You sure the soundcard input is not working ? Try going into the Delta software and making sure that all the settings are correct for it...
