This happens to me alot:
I have an event on a track that starts at say 04:04:118 and I want to copy this event and paste it at another part in the song (something like: I've already got chorus1 recorded and I want to copy and paste to make chorus2.) Here's how I do it: I select the event and performe the 'Copy' command. But in order to paste it so that it starts at the correct time, I have to check the event properties to find the starting time (04:04:118 ) and then when I paste I have to type in the starting time so that it doesn't just paste it at xx:01:000 (then it would be out of synch)
Do you know what I mean?
My question is: is there a way to copy and paste without having to constantly check and retype the starting time of the event?
I use Cake9.
