Hi, hope this doesn't sound stupid....

I've recently picked up some recording equipment and I plan on recording some live music in the near future. It's going to be few weeks however before I get the chance to record.

The system consists of a MOTU 828II, a set of KRK 5 monitors and an iBook G4. I'm planning on getting Mackie Tracktion, but for now I'll just be using the version of AudioDesk that came with the 828.

I'd love to get some practice using the gear and doing some mixing. Nothing to overwhelming, maybe 6 - 10 tracks or so. Is there anywhere I could download some raw tracks to start learning on?

Thanks!

Brad

There used to be some smaller free downloads available too... Not sure if they still do that, but for 5 bucks it's a great tool.

Also, we will have mixing 'contests' in the mp3 clinic that are fun and an invaluable learning experience...

Have fun and good luck!

:)

That's awesome, thanks a million. I will most definitely be checking that out.
