although it's a very vague question my guess would be that the OP is asking whether the Stuidopares own brand monitors are any good? if so, their NS10 copies get a lot of praise as....well, as NS10 copies. however, i think GrimTraveller (apologies if it's not grim/someone else) recommended the studiospares rebranded active monitors (these ones) and for the price i'm pretty tempted as i'm in the market for new monitors
Sorry about the vagueness
Yeh! i was wondering if Studispares own brand stuff was any good.
I personally am looking for some monitors/speakers for home.
I personally think their own monitors are good. I'll qualify that by saying that I'm no expert, they're the first monitors I've had {the Seiwins} and I'm not sure what crummy monitors would sound like.
But if you can get beyond those three minor [] details, they're worth a punt. I generally recommend them to people in England that have none, haven't owned any and are wanting to break out of using their stereo or just headphones. I've used mine now for a couple of years and they don't appear to hype the highs or lows. Whether they're 'flat' or not, I couldn't say. But they sure sound different to any speakers I play mixes on.
Be aware though, that some good stereo speakers can be flatter and better than some that are branded as 'monitors'.
