studiomaster 16:8:2?

Hi All, this is my first forray on this forum, I need some help and if any of you can help I would be most aprreciative.

a friend of mine recently passed a studiomaster 16:8:2 desk onto to me. it needs a little work doing to it but I cant find out what model the desk is, there doesnt seem to be anything up on the net about it and whether there are any circuit diagrams for it.

I had one similar for a while. Not that great in my opinion, however the models prior to the change to italics (studiomaster logo) I thought were great with "round" sounding eq.

Every single studiomaster I've auditioned has sounded different though so you may have more luck with it.

Thanks for the reply. I'm still waiting for the psu to be dropped off, so as yet I've no idea what it sounds like or if it works!!!!!



Still looking for schemataics and diagrams if anyone has any or knows where to point me.

that looks to be a mid 80's unit... when the supply gets there list the problems and perhaps if your lucky we can take care of it without schemos... i have an older one around here somewhere and they were never that esoteric in their designs... post it in the DIY forum...
