studio software programs

in my opinion, the per-take division isnt necessary. mostly because i thought that this program is something you bring up at the end of a session to record and input informations about the session you just had.
am i correct about this?
by the way, i am amazed that you are just sitting there building this thing. i guess i never really thought about how computer programs were built. so whatever it is, it is.... im not expecting anything, but whatever it is you create, its better than what i had before, which is my poor handwriting, which i can barely read anyway.....
 
Well, it's not going to be tonight :(

The data-model is not at the level where I want it to be for a first release. Some connections are still missing.

Maybe tomorrow.
 
OK, most of the data-model is in place. The main application framework is done (meaning that window-handling is in place for example).

It is currently only possible to add and edit persons-information into the system. But the buttonbar shows where it's going (I think). Adding all the functionality is now just a matter of time. I'm doing some small layout work on the persons-information screen and after that I'll post an installer for download.

I hope to add the equipment screens tomorrow. I have a long weekend starting friday so I might be able to do a fair amount of work on it.

Maybe I can throw in the basics for the helpscreens tonight too ;)

1) - I *really* want a copy of this software

2) - When will it go into Alpha, and can we get some basic screenshots?

Hey guys :D

My real-life job got in the way last week so I could not spend as much time with it as I wanted :(

I was hoping to add the module for equipment data. Currently only person-info is working. I can compile the installer and make it available if you guys are interested in such a minimal functionality.

Let me know ;)

Yep, It runs on ALL windows versions from 95 onward to XP. Clean install, no stuff in the windows directory or the registry. The whole application runs from it's own directory, including it's own DLL files.

I'm very bussy right now with other stuff but I'll have an installer up tomorow ;)

Hey guys, sorry for letting you all hang out here. Have not been in best health over the last few weeks, and have been mega-occupied with a new web-project (www.virtualsoundstudio.com). I hope to go live with the new site this weekend and after that I will have some more time for the TrackRecord project.

hey, we're all glad to see that you can still read and type. take your time and do whatever you gotta do. nevermind the "bump" guys. they're just breaking balls... i was tempted to bust balls myself, but decided not to.:D :D :D

Hey guys, a little update from me.

The website is up and running (www.virtualsoundstudio.com). Still a lot of work to do on it, but I'll try to free up some time for our little software project here.
