It's not too late to redeem yourself. People do apologize publically here and whatever their rudeness was is pretty much forgotten.
If you really are 13, it is not a good idea, nor does it say much for your upbringing, if you badmouth people who give you good, solid, truthful advice. You got rude 7 posts in. Austin and moresound had both told you the truth. They weren't rude. They weren't demeaning or belittling. They didn't swear at you or call you names. They simply told you the truth - there are no magic settings. They encouraged you to get to grips with your equipment and learn like the rest of us have had to. Bringing race into it is simply embarrassing.

Everything after post 7 quite frankly is the price a kid pays when trying to mess with the big guns.

Do yourself a favour and redeem your name unless you want to be a future byword in folly and immaturity....

I say leave him for a bit longer to see whether he stirs up more trouble and digs a deeper hole or redeems himself and apologizes.

Either way is good.. entertainment for choice A and a step toward becoming a real man for choice B.
 
I'd say give him another chance. Austin wasn't that much older when he joined and he's been a model citizen ! :D
 
Ok well, I did ban him, but then decided to check the Terms of Service and it's 13 and up, so I lifted the ban. Let's see if he apologizes... If not, then he's out of here.

I say don't ban him. We were all 13 at one time, and I'm sure a lot of us were ruder than that. But censorship is not an option to me. It's only one thread, it's not a pattern yet.
